Nadia Manjarrez

Nadia Manjarrez's journey into the world of fashion is as inspiring as her designs. Born and raised in Mexico, Nadia's passion for creating began at a young age, thanks to her mother, who taught her to sew at the age of six. Although she once dreamed of becoming an astronaut, her love for making doll clothes evolved into a full-fledged design career.

Nadia honed her skills at the University of Monterrey, earning a degree in Fashion and Textile Design. Her career took flight in New York, where she worked with luxury eveningwear brands like Badgley Mischka, Marchesa, and Cushnie et Ochs. In 2017, she co-created the non-traditional eveningwear brand Flor et.al, gaining invaluable experience in design and production.
Returning to Mexico in 2020, Nadia began designing wedding gowns for friends in her parents' basement.

During the pandemic, she pivoted to making face masks, which grew into a business that supported local female sewers.

Today, Nadia Manjarrez Studio Bridal offers versatile, modular, and customizable gowns, crafted by Mexican female heads of households. Her designs seamlessly transition brides from ceremony to reception, embodying elegance and empowerment.

 Naeem Khan

Naeem Khan's illustrious career is a testament to his mastery of blending traditional craftsmanship with modern design. Born in Mumbai, Khan was immersed in a world of culture, art, and textiles from a young age. His family's business of designing intricate clothing for Indian royalty greatly influenced his path. Moving to the United States as a teenager, Khan apprenticed with the legendary American designer Halston, where he learned the art of draping and cutting fabric.

This experience, combined with his family's expertise, shaped his unique design aesthetic.

In 2003, Khan launched his eponymous collection, which quickly became a favorite among celebrities and fashion icons like Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, and First Lady Michelle Obama. His designs are renowned for their clean, elegant, and timeless silhouettes. In 2013, he introduced the Naeem Khan Bridal collection, bringing his distinctive style to brides worldwide. His collections are now sold in over 150 retail outlets globally, including Zoya's Atelier.

 Amsale Nouvelle

While we already offer the classic Amsale collection at Zoya's Atelier, we’re so excited to introduce Amsale Nouvelle, continuing to honor Amsale's legacy with designs that exude modern femininity and reflect the unique personal style of each bride.

Amsale Nouvelle, a line that reflects Amsale Aberra's philosophy of elegant simplicity, brings a touch of understated glamour to modern bridal fashion.

Each gown is handcrafted with couture techniques in Amsale's New York City Atelier, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and quality. Amsale Aberra and Neil Brown founded The Amsale Group, which has become one of the world's leading luxury bridal houses. Amsale is often credited with inventing the modern wedding dress, focusing on clean lines, sophisticated silhouettes, and timeless elegance.

 Yumi Katsura

We also want to take a moment to honor the late Yumi Katsura, a pioneer in the bridal fashion industry who passed away this April. As the first bridal designer to create Westernized wedding gowns in Japan, Katsura revolutionized the bridal sector over her six-decade career. Known for her hands-on approach and dedication to her craft, Katsura was a formidable presence in the industry. Just this March, she presented her latest collection of 70 wedding gowns in Tokyo, demonstrating her unwavering passion for bridal design.

Katsura, whose given name was Yumi Yuki, not only made significant contributions to bridal fashion but also achieved remarkable accolades beyond the industry. She was recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records for creating the wedding dress with the most pearls — an astonishing 13,262 genuine Akoya cultured pearls — and designed vestments worn by Pope John Paul II for Easter mass. Her legacy of innovation, elegance, and dedication will continue to inspire the bridal world for generations to come.

These extraordinary designers are coming soon to Zoya's Atelier, bringing a wealth of creativity, craftsmanship, and elegance to our boutique. Whether you're drawn to the innovative versatility of Nadia Manjarrez, the timeless elegance of Naeem Khan, the modern femininity of Nouvelle Amsale, or the groundbreaking legacy of Yumi Katsura, Zoya's Atelier has the perfect gown for you.
