When should I start shopping for my gown?

Embarking on the journey to find your dream wedding dress is exciting, and we're here to ensure you enjoy each moment! Recognizing that the process can be overwhelming, we suggest beginning your search 10-12 months prior to your wedding day. For our Evening Wear collections, our preferred timescale is 6-9 months. This time frame allows ample opportunity to discover stunning styles, indulge in trying on gorgeous dresses, and ultimately find the one that makes you feel truly radiant. In some circumstances, we can accommodate shorter timescales, but there may be an additional fee involved. Please call to request more detailed information.


Do I need an appointment?

Yes! Please use our online scheduler to book an appointment.


Is there an appointment fee?

We have implemented a $50 1st Bridal consultation fee for weekend appointments, which will be credited towards your gown if purchased during your initial appointment. Weekday appointments do not incur charges upon booking, we do require your credit card details for confirmation. Please note that a cancellation fee of $150 for Bridal and Evening Wear appointments and $50 for Accessories and Sample Sale appointments will be applied should you fail to provide a minimum of 48 hours' notice prior to cancellation or rescheduling.


What fees will I be charged at the time of placing an order for a gown?

You will be charged the price of the gown (keep in mind any modifications to a gown will incur additional charges), shipping & insurance, and tax. If paying by credit card we charge a 2% fee. We accept debit cards and checks.


 

What is your cancellation policy?

A cancellation fee of $150 for Bridal and Evening Wear appointments and $50 for Accessories and Sample Sale appointments will be applied should you fail to provide a minimum of 48 hours' notice prior to cancellation or rescheduling.


What is the price range for your gowns?

Wedding gowns range from $3,000 - $20,000. Evening wear gowns range from $2,000 - $12,000.


 

I found my perfect dress, but you don't carry that particular style from the designer. Is it possible for you to order it for me?

Absolutely! We have a sample loaner program for our brides, where we'll borrow a dress from one of our designers and have it shipped to our store. Give us a call and we'll reach out to the designer for you! Please note, there is a charge of $75 for shipping.

 


 

What's the difference between my 1st Bridal appointment and 2nd Bridal appointment?

Your first bridal appointment will last 90 minutes and you'll choose the gowns you want to try on, plus suggestions from your expert stylist. Your 2nd Bridal appointment is to try on only your favorites from your 1st appointment. The duration of your 2nd bridal appointment is 60 minutes. If you'd like to try on additional gowns, please choose the 1st Bridal appointment type, to ensure you have enough time to view and try on gowns.


Do you offer alterations?

Yes, we offer alterations for gowns purchased at Zoya's Atelier. If we have the capacity we'll accept alterations on gowns not bought at Zoya's Atelier. Alterations are a separate cost from the gown. Our process, spanning 3-4 fitting appointments over a 2-3 month period, ensures your wedding or evening gown achieves perfection. The starting price for bridal alterations is $980 and increases based on specific requirements and intricacies. Evening wear alterations start at $880 and increases based on specific requirements. All alteration consultations and services are strictly by appointment only, allowing us to devote our undivided attention to your gown.


When should I schedule my alterations appointment?

Your alterations appointment should be scheduled three months prior to your wedding date. We accept alteration consultations Tuesday to Friday, 11:00am - 5:00pm

 


What should I bring to my alterations consultation?

Bring a supportive bra or shapewear to each fitting appointment, as well as the shoes you will be wearing with your gown.


How many guests can I bring with me?

Due to space constraints, we allow our clients two guests during weekend appointments, and up to three guests during weekday appointments. Please give us a call if you would like to bring more guests. We'll try to accommodate you.


Am I allowed to take photos?

Yes, you’re allowed.


Can I return a special order gown?

All of our sales are final sales, there are no refunds, exchanges, or returns on any items.


What is a trunk show?

A trunk show is a special event held at a bridal shop for a limited time. The shop invites a bridal or evening wear designer to showcase their full collection of dresses for a day or a number of days. This provides clients with an opportunity to view and try on gowns that are not normally available in the shop.


What is a sample sale?

A bridal sample sale is an event in which bridal shops offer their samples for purchase "off the rack". These gowns are usually 40%-75% off. Most of the time, minor flaws such as loose beading, slight marks, etc. will be present, and reflected in the gown’s discount. You can usually expect some work needed such as more extensive alterations or cleaning when buying a sample wedding dress off-the-rack.


What kind of accessories do you carry?

We carry veils, headpieces, and jewelry.


Is Zoya’s Atelier handicap accessible?

Our showroom on the first floor of Zoya’s Atelier is handicap accessible. Our showroom on the second floor and restroom are not.


Where can I park?

You can park at Zoya’s Atelier.
